Services Tailored to Your Story

Every client comes in with a different vision. We meet them where they are — whether that's a first-time cover-up or a full-back memorial piece.

Custom Design

Bring your idea or let us create something original. Every piece is drawn from scratch — no flash sheets, no shortcuts, no repeats.

Cover-Ups

Don't like what you have? We specialize in transforming old or faded tattoos into fresh, meaningful artwork that fits your life now.

Fine Line & Minimalist

Delicate, precise work for clients who prefer subtlety. Fine-line florals, script, geometric patterns — the kind of pieces that speak quietly.

Realism & Portraits

Photo-realistic work that captures likeness and emotion. Pet portraits, tributes, or any image that matters — rendered in ink with care.

Traditional & Neo-Traditional

Bold lines, rich color, timeless compositions. Classic American, Japanese, or a modern twist — we honor the roots and push them forward.

Touch-Ups & Aftercare

Got an old piece that faded or healed poorly? We offer professional touch-ups and detailed aftercare guidance to keep your ink looking sharp.

Rooted in New Egypt, Built on Craft

Folkways Tattoo isn't a chain or a franchise. We're a local studio on Main Street, and we take that seriously. Every client who walks through our door is a neighbor — and we treat every tattoo like it's going on family.

Our studio follows the strictest hygiene standards in the industry. Single-use needles, barrier-wrapped equipment, and a dedicated sterilization protocol mean you're always safe. No compromises, no cut corners.

Whether it's your first tattoo or your fifth sleeve, we'll walk through the design, placement, and sizing until it's right. Good ink takes time — and we won't rush it.
